Hello,

 

Yesterday I bought HP Notebook Mini model 210-3010sx with operating system is Windows 7 

since I started the laptop, the touch pad start disconnecting while I work on the laptop 

 

the mouse pointer frozen and nothing move, but the keyboard is okay 

 

I know there is small bottom to enable/disable the touch pad, but I don't press on it 

 

when this thing happen with me, I try to shutdown Windows and restart it again

sometimes it works and sometimes no 

 

Could someone help me please, and answer me is this software problem or manufacture problem ??

Hi,

 

Try the following.

 

First, download the latest Synaptics driver installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52501-53000/sp52936.exe

 

Next, open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry 'Synaptics Pointing Device Driver' and select Uninstall.

 

When this has completed, restart the notebook.

 

When windows has fully reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click the Synaptics installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.  When this has completed, restart the notebook again.

 

When windows has loaded again, check to see if double-tapping the top left corner of the pad toggles it On and Off - a further description of this can be found under the sub-heading 'Disable the ClickPad' on the document Here.

I already contact with Maintance dept. in HP Saudi Arabia.

 

the problem in the device itself, and tommoro I'll go to their shop to test it and maybe exchange it 

 

because not even when i work on windows it's not workin', also in Bios screen the touch pad not work
