I have HP Pavilion dv5-1279br... whenever i put my laptop on charge the cooling fan stops working... consequently it suddenly goes to sleep when its temperature is too high...

First try updating the BIOS at http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html , then change the Power Options to High Performance and see if that helps.

I understand you are stating while the computer is charging the fan does not function, is that correct? I will try to help you with this.

 

 

Does the computer present an error message showing that it is not charging, or do you just not hear the fan spinning?

Also the part of the table under my laptop is always too hot,,, whatever its material is..

@ Romancino,

 

 I know this is a little off topic, but when you get a chance, flip your computer over and look for a sticker on the bottom that mentions a product number or P/N. If it is not directly on the bottom remove the battery and look inside the computer for that number.
