HP Notebook - 14-ck2018tu
Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop doesn't connect with most of the Wi-Fi and hotspot. Help me fix the problem as I already tried updates and all. It did get connected through a cable and with some wireless also but at the same time doesn't connect to some. What it shows while connecting with Wi-Fi or hotspot is can't connect to this network.

@himangijindal50

Its specs

which shows it has  802.11b/g/n (1x1) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 combo adapter. It ONLY can "see" 2.4GHz networks and won't "see" all 5.0GHz networks.

It only has a single antenna, if you wish, you can replace its current adapter with

  • Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 9461 802.11 AC 1×1 WiFi + BT5 Combo Adapter (non-vPro) (MU-MIMO supported)
  • Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1×1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported)

Regards,

BH

Thanks for the help.

But it doesn't seem to connect with 2.4 Gz also. Also earlier it got connected with all but when I updated it to Windows 11 the problem started.
