Yes, I've gone through 2 hp laptops both had heat related issues. It seems that hp laptops have about a year to a year and half lifespan unless you can keep them cool externally. I blame it on hp's terrible design that they still continue to use and dust build up inside that restricts proper airflow. HP wouldn't do a **bleep** thing to help because I was just out of warranty. All that I am sure of is that I will never buy another hp nor will I recommend one to anyone, they got enough money out of me ($4,000) for 2 laptops that are now nothing more than paperweights, boy do I feel cheated.
