Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a Samsung evo 970 NVMe m.2 250 SSD today.

 

But its not connecting. Not showing in the device manager. 

 

Why this is happening?

Is it showing in Disk Management? (right-click on start and clcik on Disk Management)

I am thinking that the service manual might be wrong and that your notebook only supports M2 SATA3 SSD such as the Samsung 860 Evo. (not PCIe NVMe such as the 970)

First, Crucial does not list any PCIe drives as compatible with your notebook:

Other users have reported the same problem of the notebook not recognizing PCIe SSD, however running SATA3 SSD.
