I grasp that your notebook will not power on. You tried a hard reset but no change. When you did the hard reset, did you remove all USB devices?

Have you tried a different electrical outlet?
When you try to power the notebook on do you see any lights at all or is it completely dead?

If the service center has determined it is the motherboard, it would require replacement to be operatonal again.
You may want to get the cost of the repair and then contact HP support, as they may have other options for you to consider.

Hello my name is Sapphire. I have an HP 2000 Notebook PC 2000-2c29WM with a Windows 8 operating system. I bought my laptop new, less than a year ago. My laptop just shut off and i wont turn back on. I've tried all the battery tricks and all the trouble shooting techniques. NOTHING IS WORKING! What do I do? Hurry please!!
