Hello,

I have an HP Mini 110-3713tu PC

Product number: lv829pa

It has built-in webcam. My problem is, the image is grainy, its not clear, and its grayish in color, like the color sucked off from the display.

Please help. How can it be fixed? I want a clear shot, with color and all.

I forgot to mention, I am using a Windows 7 Professional.

The normal light, whichever it is, outside our house, inside the house lights on or not, its always grainy and grayish looking, pale looking.

This may have been fixed by now, but I have had the same problem with my laptop, although it's not an HP one.  The problem was caused because I hadn't realised there was a protective strip across the camera lens!  Did I feel stupid or what!!

Now the strip has been peeled off I have a perfectly acceptable web picture - and no extra expense incurred buying a plug in cam, which was what I was on the verge of doing.

Just a thought in case it could be the cause of your problem too.

Hello,

Thanks, but it isn't fixed yet. And there is no protective strip.

So, I don't know how this will be fixed.
