Thank you for responding, I appreciate your time and effort.
As It could be a hardware issue on the PC and we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out. HP provides repair or service options for out of warranty products as well. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support for all warranty service options.
Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.
Follow the instructions below to reach them:
1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6) Fill the web form and proceed further.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
For any hardware issue or repair please click on the link Phone Assist Worldwide
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Have a great day!

This is a bigger problem than this isolated incident. I have a few clients that purchased this laptop that uses the same Nic MediaTek... and all have not work now. The device is there, everything appears fine, but no wifi networks available. Would be nice to get a resolution to this issue.

I am having the same problem. I Have an HP Pavilion. I bought 10 February 2022. I thought the wifi adapter had a hardware issue, so I returned the computer and got a brand new one (exact same model). This machine is doing the same thing. It randomly shows "Not available" when I'm in a wifi network. By disabling and re-enabling the wifi adapter, it will recognize the wifi networks and connect.
I should not have to reset the wifi adapter everytime I Login. Please advise.

I've had 6 people come into my shop now in the last week, all with the exact same problem. My short term fix has been to purchase a usb wireless adapter. Needless to say, i have a dozen of these usb wireless adapters now, i imagine more people with these laptops will come through my door.
Whatever is going on, it is global issue, and would be nice to have resolved.
Makes no sense.

Please forgive me as I am not a technical person. It became apparent in looking through HP support that this is a widespread issue. For me, I have to unplug my modem and router for several minutes to get things to reconnect - today I had to do it 5 times in succession - it finally worked.
I began to look beyond HP because their solutions didn't seem to be working for people & found a Tom's Guide post that seems to suggest that it might have to do with a router version issue, which means that to use our HP computers with Media Tek adapters many of us might have to buy new routers! Seems like HP could push Media Tek for a driver update to fix if this is the case. The link references same issues related to this Media Tek adapter in a Lenovo PC. Here is the link:
As for me - If I don't see something definitive soon, I will return to Costco for another brand with a different network adapter.

even iam facing the same issue as yours, and hp support is useless and not ready to provide a permanent solution.
I think the problem is with the mediatek mt7921 which comes with laptop, i have ordered for a intel ax210 wifi adapter to replace the faulty mediatek adapter.
Hope it resolves the issue.
