Sorry but I can't help.

That model has the same hardware as yours, so if it isn't working, I would have no idea what else you can do.

Try other HP models with Intel hardware is all I can say, like the dv6-7000.

I know what model notebook you have and there are no windows 7 drivers for it.

You need to use the windows 7 drivers from other models that have the same hardware as yours.

I have given you the links to two models that have the same hardware. You said none of the drivers from the one worked.

They should have.

As, I stated before, there is nothing more I can do to assist you.

Sorry.

I'm not 100% sure if it had SP1 but, yes it was 64bit, I just bought an OEM version and that worked, I'm not sure if it had the service packs installed or not

You're very welcome, Nin.

Glad you got everything to work.

There is something i'd like to state to help the others.

my usb didnt work during the windows 7 instalation and on windows 7 at the first time, i had to burn a cd and luckly i could use my cousin's computer to do it, i advice you to burn a cd with the drivers before formating it or you can get stuck if you dont have other computer to burn a cd.

Hello,

Your link for the Audio Driver for the HP ENVY m6 1125-dx Windows 7 does not work.  I used all your other links to make this machine work on Windows 7 64 bit and they were PERFECT!  However the Audio did not work and the system used a standard HD Audio Device which doesn't give the same volume nor sound quality as prior.  Any suggestions?

Hi:

I just clicked on the IDT audio driver link and it worked fine for me.

Here it is again for you...

To jsw your little tip really helped alot, thank you!

Paul, I think you should keep my experience as a reference to others who may encounter the same problem as me!

I hope I dont encounter anything else.
