Hi, Kyle:

First you have to install the chipset driver from the AMD website at the link below and reboot. First file listed.

That will install the SMBus controller and USB 3.0 controllers.

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/raid_windows.aspx#2

Then, all of the W7 x64 drivers from this related model should work on yours.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=5282148&...

The PCI device is the Realtek card reader that needs the driver.

I will need the hardware ID for the network controller however as there can be one of many different models in your PC.

Rather than trying random drivers willy-nilly, just post the hardware ID and I will post the link to the exact wireless card driver you need.

The wired network adapter uses the Realtek LAN driver.

Thanks again Paul. Things are starting to make sense now.

You're very welcome.

Below are the links to the other drivers you need...

Wireless:

Fingerprint Sensor.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=32...

If you want to use the fingerprint sensor, then you also need to install this software:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=32...

For some reason, the bluetooth software for the Ralink wireless card was not listed on that PC's support and driver page.

This file should work the Bluetooth on your notebook.

Hi,

I lent my laptop to my brother and its gone kaput. It originally came with Win8 but i have since reformatted it and put on Win7 which i prefer. But like you mentioned before Paul i am having trouble finding drivers for it.

It is a HP ENVY 6-1112TX.

I believe the Motherboard is a HP 1897 72.43

The CPU is a Intel Core i5-3317U

I can give the hardware id's if you would like.

I would love to be able to use Win7 on it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time!

Remember that if you have the AMD/Intel switchable graphics you only install the AMD video driver which also includes the Intel video driver.

Install these first 3 drivers first, which means you may have to download them from another PC and copy them to a usb flash drive or burn to a CD to install.  Reboot after each single installation.

1. Intel chipset installation utility.

2. Graphics

3. Audio

Best Regards,

Paul

Hey guys,

I found this thread while searching for answers to my problem just wondering if anyone can help.
My mate just bought a new m6-1117tx with windows 8 that was continuously blue screening. I downgraded it to windows 7 and reinstalled all the drivers form this site
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=5275636&...
But the wireless just will not work. It detects no networks no matter what driver i install. The LAN works fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as ive been trying to fix this for over a week now.

Hi, Pandimebag:

Please post the hardware ID for the network controller needing drivers in the device manager.

If you don't know where to find that info, please read the guide at the link below.
