I need a replacement battery for my laptop which is out of warranty, and i cannot find the product on the hp website,

That is the correct part number for your model laptop. HP Parts does not carry replacement batteries for very long after laptops are being actively sold and yours is old enough I would not expect HP to be carrying the battery at this point.
