Hp 15 notebook
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi. I bought a ram chip to upgrade my hp 15 notebook. I asked the online seller if it was compatible before I purchased it. They said yes but now that o got it it doesn't seem to work. I've asked them for help but they say that they can't help me without a link to the parameters of my motherboard. So I've been looking all over for the parameters for the hewlett-Packard 2213 motherboard and can't seem to find them anywhere. Admittedly I'm not exactly computer savvy so I'm probably simply missing the obvious. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

HP does not publish motherboard parameters for laptops. What is your HP 15 notebook ?  Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Regards.
