Will I have to have a Bluetooth adapter in order for this to work??

Hi TheSecond,

You have a Bluetooth Adapter in the Notebook. If you follow the link provided it will give you some assistance getting the Headphones working.

Thanks

When going in to the device manager, under network adapters.....I have no Bluetooth network, or Bluetooth anything listed.
When I go into my startup menu, and type in Bluetooth, nothing but the drivers I have installed are listed.
I have sp44774, sp47022, sp55138, sp52532, and SetupBtwdownloadSE
but according to everything I have done there isn't Bluetooth anything on this computer.
under network adapters
Intel(R)Centrino Wimax 6150
Intel(R)Centrino Wireless 6150
Microsoft Virtual WiFi miniport adapter
Microsoft Virtual WiFi miniport Adapter#2
RealTek PCIe GBE Family controller
I am showing nothing for Bluetooth capability.

Hi TheSecond,

You would know if the device is there should be a green light on f12. If you click it there should be a little Bluetooth emblem on your bottom right side of the computer

Thanks

I am not showing that this computer is Bluetooth capable at all and the light on my F12 key is white, and there is no icon in the lower right hand corner of the task bar other than my internet connections.

when I go to the startup menu and type in Bluetooth, nothing at all comes up. Even after all the Drivers I have installed, I don't know what to do , and if this computer is supposed to be Bluetooth capable and isn't then HP should fix it, since I can't even find it.

According to what I have just read, if Bluetooth is not listed then the hardware is not installed on this computer, now I have to ask, was the hardware for Bluetooth supposed to be installed on this computer and not installed? If So I want it fixed?

Hi TheSecond,

It shows me 2 models from Retail Notebooks Units, yours did not have Bluetooth Installed.

Your Serial number shows you will need a Bluetooth Adapter.

Thanks
