Supplement:
After installing noted RAM modules, system seemed to be working fine. Unfortunately it didn't last for long.
The system freezes, shows distortion/artifacts on screen or shuts down sporadically. It's repeatable by using e.g. 3DMark06. Both modules work fine if used separately. They passed all known RAM tests, including the internal BIOS RAM check.
Any clues?
Thanks

P.S. My system dm1-4055sg - think there's no difference

Hi,
I downloaded and ran 3DMark06 and it seemed to run ok. It was admittedly slow on some of the tests - namely he CPU tests but I guess that is to be expected for a laptop with our specs.
There was no evidence of graphic breakup and ran until the summary / score / completion page.
Hope this helps.

Official-Heat
Edit: What BIOS version do you have? I'm on F13. There were definite performance issues with the early versions of BIOS.

Hi,
thanks! I ordered another pair of rams of the same specs, which seem to work fine.
3DMark06 Score about 2350...
The slow performance in the CPU tests is normal due to the fact that only the CPU (without the GPU) works in this test. BIOS also F13.
Did you ever read out the temperature with e.g. Core Temp?
My system reaches nearly 80°C under 3Dmark06.
Regards,
Lugosi
P.S. Sorry for my bad english!
