Hello HP Support,
I've just purchased a new HP notebook, then found out that it doesn't have any bottom vents! Just the side vent! I'm afraid that would cause an overheating issue in the next few months. I'm going to use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop on my new laptop, which are kind of heavy softwares. Is this laptop model designed in a way to overcome the overheating problem without any bottom vents? Please advice. Thank you in advance!
Kind Regards,

We are not engineers here but the laptop is designed by engineers and I am sure they take thermal requirements into account. The fan and side vents do provide good airflow. Also the case is not 100% sealed. Air can get in through the top and the keyboard area and is kicked out by the fan and side vent. Sometimes cooling is better when the airflow is channeled and not diffuse.
