I'm having a problem trying to get this notebook computer to output video on the HDMI port when in DUPLICATE mode.  In DUPLICATE mode the frame buffer should be displayed on both the notebook's video screen AND it should output the video on the HDMI port so it can be seen on an HDTV, et al.  What is strange is that the EXTEND and PROJECTOR ONLY modes work which proves the cable, HDTV, and the video port on this notebook computer works correctly in those modes.  However, in DUPLICATE mode video is only displayed on the notebook computer's screen and no video signal comes out on the HDMI port.  I know this because the HDTV screen is blank with the exception that the HDTV displays the message "No Signal".  I have the latest firmware and video drivers installed.  Anyone with an idea of what is going on?

This computer is only 3 weeks old.  This is the first time I have tried to use the HDMI output on it.

I believe I've found the solution to the issue I was having.  The problem seems to be that the notebook computer seems to be driving the HDMI output to the HDTV at 1600x900 resolution.  This causes the HDTV to not be able to sync to the signal from the notebook computer.  As the HDTV does not recognize the resolution the screen on it is blank.  However, while in DUPLICATE mode if you change the resolution of the notebook computer to 1366x768 then both the notebook computer and the HDTV do display the video.  Oddly, even though the HDTV can handle resolution up to 1920x1080 it is unable to display output from the notebook computer when it is set to 1600x900 in DUPLICATE mode.  When in PROJECTOR ONLY mode the HDTV works fine in 1920x1080 resolution.  Further, when in EXTEND mode both the notebook computer and the secondary extended display can be set to 1600x900 resolution.
