Hi,
Do you mind saying how you managed to fix the problem you had before with your pc not posting anything on screen? I'm having the exact same problem on my pc and its driving me crazy. At this point I'm even considering buying a new Mobo as I can't see what else it could be.

Hello, I have the exact same computer as you, and here's what happened
I plugged a new harddrive in to my computer, booted up.
Boom, no input signal.
Changed to SSD, reinstalled windows and yeah.
If you're using a nvidia card like I am, It's your drivers, 50%. Otherwise, It's windows installing an update (I'm not sure which one it is) which can also cause problems.
Specs
i5 (Can't remember how powerful)
Nvidia geForce GTX 560 TI
8GB Ram
Corsair GT 120gb SSD
Hitachi Deskstar 1TB HDD
bla bla bla.
I haven't fixed this problem, I haven't been at it too long since I could give less of a **bleep** because I'm building a new rig in a few days anyway.
But, To the OP of this post, If you still haven't fixed your problems, the stuff I listed above might help.
Also the guy who posted last.
Ah! Yes, also
After the "Incident" I've been having alot of problems with reinstalling NVIDIA drivers and Windows updates.
My calculations after about a month of this problem and tweaking around in my computer have traced it back to NVIDIA Drivers crashing my display because they stop responding. Boot into safe mode, reinstall/find an older/beta install of your GPU's drivers and install those, that's my advice. If all fails buy another copy of windows or just never buy HP again. There are many flaws in that case anyway. If you want to ask me questions or just talk, [Personal Information Removed]
