i did all that once and it worked but i never re instaled it and now my sound doesnt work again  and ive trued both method 1 and 2 to try and search for hardware updates. Pleas help!

Hi Manjunath - I too once worked for HP.   

 

My initial problem was not 'no sound',  but low sound coming from speakers.  I ran your solution and it seems to have fixed it properly now.  I hope it is fully rectified now as it was very frustrating previously.  I shall return to this forum should problems persist.
