I noticed that while my HP Spectre is plugged in and I use firefox the notebook heats up near the top left side .
While I use Microsoft edge it doesn't happen. what can I do in order to fix this problem?
Thank you in advance.

Hello @geffen
Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.
Your answer lays in your post - don't use Firefox 🙂
Firefox is known to be a bit more resource hungry browser compared to other browsers such as IE or EDGE, Opera, etc...
Probably it opens lots of websites, tabs, you may have several extensions/add-ons enabled...
It is normal for the PC to be warming up a little bit while more resourse intensitve. Problems starts when it is overheated or when the PC begins to auto-shut down due to overheating

It is not heating up when unplugged from AC because your charger is not plugged in, therefore no AC power at that moment. This is physics and is normal - expected behaviour. If you Google it, you will find it is normal - every device you have at home or in your office does the same.

Don't worry, it's fine 🙂
