Hi all,
Notebook computer battery not charging. When i plugged it into AC power, it display plugging , charging but acutely battery not
charging. I replace the battery but problem not solved. Then i replace the AC power adapter but problem not solved.
Please advice me.
Notebook :HP630
fault : not charging
os : WIN 07

Go into the device manager. Find the battery device. Click on the triangle next to Battery to expand it. left-click on the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Battery Control Method device, then right-click it and select uninstall. Once it has uninstalled it may install on its own, but if not just, right click on any device and select scan for hardware changes. The OS should install a fresh copy of the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Battery Control Method device.

Hello Upasana,
I understand you state the battery is not charging is that correct? I will try to assist you with this issue.
Try what Erico suggested at the very top. If you scroll to the top, look on the second post and try those steps to see if that helps.

Yes you are right..battery is not charging and when i connect it with the power supply it shows plugged in.
I have already tried the above said solution but dat didn't wrkd out.
I tried to use the charger of one of my friend to chck whether the problem is with battery or charger...that time battery was charging so it means dere is sum pbm wid d charger..
Plz assist me in solving the issue.

Replace the charger and that should take care of the problem.
