Hi!

I just installed windows 7 ultimate in my Laptop HP 630 qa131

everything went smooth and the computer looks like working good

.

When I check the device manager I notice:

PCI Simple Communications Controller

Device type.....Other devices

Manufacture ......Unknown

Location ......PCI bus 0.device 22.function 0

Device Status

Drivers for the device are not installed. (Code 28)

.

What should I do?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Vijay:

 

Please click on each missing device in the device manager. Then click on the details tab.

 

In the Porperties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's).

 

Post the top string of characters you see there.

 

Those will further identify the missing devices and I can send you the link to the drivers.
