I have an HP Pavilion a6000n PC w/ an AMD Anthlon64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 4200+ and i just recently installed Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3 (2002 ... i think) and i have question marks in my Device Manager for the folowing:

Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus

Other PCI Bridge Device

PCI Simple Communications Controller

SM Bus Contoller

Video  Controller (VGA Compatible)

Could you help me out. Also, would any of these be the reason why i cant access the internet. It says im connected but.....

Hi, Aaron:

These should be most of the drivers you need:

First, install the chipset driver and reboot: This will install the network drivers and other motheboard drivers.

Then install the graphics driver and reboot.

Then install the audio driver and reboot.  Accept the agreement. Download and install the 6th one on the list (first one in green).

The PCI simple comms controller is your modem. I think this is the XP driver for it.

Hi, Skillled:

You need to install the Intel Management Interface Engine driver (IMEI) from your PC's support and driver page.
