Hi:

You need this driver for that device...Download, unzip and run the setup.exe file.

Hi:

I don't understand why these drivers aren't working (this one or the one on the support page for your notebook).

If you look at the folder you unzipped, in the x64 driver folder, you will find the driver setup information file which shows support for the hardware ID you posted.  So clearly it is the right driver.

[Manufacturer]
%MfgName% = Intel, NTamd64.6.1, NTamd64.10.0

[Intel.ntamd64.6.1]
; DisplayName               Section           DeviceId
%TEE_DeviceDesc%=TEE_DDI_x64, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2298

[Intel.ntamd64.10.0]
; DisplayName               Section           DeviceId
%TEE_DeviceDesc%=TEE_DDI_WIN10_x64, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F18
%TEE_DeviceDesc%=TEE_DDI_WIN10_x64, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2298

Try this and if it doesn't work, try this older driver I posted below this info...

Try manually installing the driver as follows:

Go to the device manager and click on the PCI E/D Controller needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.  Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.  Then reboot.

Here is the link to an older version of the driver...it also contains support for the hardware ID you posted.
