Every driver already has an inf file in it (Setup information file).

I just double click and run them like I said. 

Or I manually install the driver from the driver folder once unzipped.

I am not a software engineer by trade or training, or a PC repair tech by trade or training.

Your questions are way beyond my skill level.

Does it matter if it's an English/Dutch pack you need to select language so maybe I need Dutch driver packs

For some reason e.g. reinstalling win7, the window will not detect the networking hardware.

you will find only the LAN.

Solution is very easy:

1- connect the ethernet cable to get internet connection

2- go to device manager [right click my computer----> properties----> device manager

3- in device manager go to other devices ----> network controller

4- double click network controller -----> update driver ------> online search (the online search will find the driver and will install it

5- restart your computer

If online search will not find the driver

Do 1,2,3 as above

4- double click network controller ----> click details ----> Device description ----> Hardware IDs

5- copy the first line of ID

6- go google and search -----> you will know the name of the device

7- go to the support of your lab e.g.samsung, toshiba, HP, then download the driver -----> restart ---> ENJOY
