Hello everyone, I would like to know how I can re-install or install a power plan recommended by HP, recently I reinstall all the OS but unfortunately, the power plan recommended by HP is missing. Does exist any program for installing?,  I'll appreciate your help.

Best regards.

Hi @Doniel1

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I see that the Power plan manager is missing from your system. Do not worry, I am here to help you fix the issue.

Try the steps recommended below.

Go to your Taskbar and right-click the Battery icon, then click Windows Mobility Center. When the Mobility Center window opens, you will find a Battery Status button that will allow you to choose from all three default power plans: Balanced, Power saver and High performance. Choose the one you want and you're golden. One odd thing that I noted: When you choose either of the "missing" power plans (Power saver or High performance) and subsequently open the Control Panel/Power Options window, it will look like you have somehow restored the missing plan that you just picked using the Mobility Center utility. However, if you change your power plan back to Balanced, the "missing" plan again becomes MIA on the Power Options window. You can, however, restore it by using Windows Mobility Center.

Use the Windows Power troubleshooter to automatically adjust the computer power timeout settings.

To run the Power troubleshooter, complete these steps:

In Windows, search for troubleshoot and open Troubleshoot in the search results.
In the right pane, scroll down and click Power.
Click Run the troubleshooter to find and fix problems with the power settings.
When the detection process is complete, a recommended resolution displays.
You can select Apply this fix to apply the recommended fix, or select Skip this fix to continue troubleshooting without applying the fix.
Make your choice and follow the on-screen instructions.

Also, try the steps recommended below.

1. Open a command prompt.

2. Copy and paste the command below for the missing power plan you want to restore into the command prompt, and press Enter.

powercfg -duplicatescheme 381b4222-f694-41f0-9685-ff5bb260df2e

3. You can now close the command prompt.

Try updating BIOS to the latest version and check if it helps.
