Hi. My Sleekbook shows me the 601 error.
Just done the battery check with HP support assistant: error ID REOOW
and UEFI shows me this: FAILURE ID RLN3VG-6HD8JV-MFPWWJ-CO8MO3 Battery status: REPLACE
So, what now? Need to replace the internal battery? My poor baby is doomed?
Need help, thanks!

Hello @LadyHeron,
Thank you for your reply !!
How did you confirm that its the BIOS( RTC) battery.
If you are sure that its the RTC battery, go to the below guide, See page-51

Hello @LadyHeron,
This is a slightly misleading error as it does in fact refer to your notebooks main battery, and I suspect its not the cmos cell.
To confirm that this is the case, try the following.
Please check the page below and see if battery reports any problems.

I hope it's not. If was the BIOS battery, the laptop has time settings problems, right? The only problems mine shows is this 601 error. The Battery Check shows only 24% of capacity. So if I replace only the external one I should be ok, right?
Thank you! Finger crossed :catwink:

Let me understand this right !
Please look at the below pic and confirm, is that the battery that you took out and is this what yor are saying as external one. Because to take the BIOS battery, SYSTEM Board needs to be removed.
