I receive this error message on start-up:
HP Battery Alert
The system has detected the storage capacity of the battery stated below to be very low. For optimal performance, this battery may need to be replaced.
Primary (internal) Battery (601)
ENTER - Continue Startup
For more information, please visit: www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup.
Please suggest a solution (including the kind of replacement of hardware - in this case - seems to be a battery), and from where I can shop the same and get my laptop serviced (as it was bought around 2009).
Thanks,
Chandrasekhar Karri.

Hi,
Primary (internal) Battery (601) is a bit missleading, catually it's the main battery. Please use the following instructions to check and test:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00821536
If failed, you have to buy new battery.
Regards.
