Hi Mr. HP Expert 2014

My Pc is HP DC7800 USDT, CPU: Core 2 duo E6850, Bios v1.32. After changing CMOS battery, I had the error message: "2215-EIT Failure. VA boot record read failure. Ensure drive with VA image is installed correctly" when booting hp and could not start windows 8.1 pro. Also, I could not boot from USB, DVD or other HDD to reintall windows. It appeared exactly the same error message above. What will I do in this situation?

I really need your help Mr. HP Expert 2014. Your support would be great !!!

Thanks

@Trumpet_one

 From the manual for the machine I gathered a bit of info that may help.

1.Try pressing Ctrl+P during POST and go into the MEBx.

2. Select Intel AMT Configuration.

3. Select VA Configuration at the bottom of the list and change the VA Boot Policy to Normal Boot.

 The system may reboot and then display the 2228 POST message that lets the user know that VTx has automatically been disabled. Press F1 to continue the boot process.

 To get your issue more exposure and/or most accurate advice I would suggest posting  in the Business forums since the DC7800 is a business product.
