Hi,

I guess it's time for a new PC then. Outside of overclocking is there anyway to speed up the processor?

Thanks again!

Hi,

The hardware is not prepared to overclock.

You're right, the best thing would be to think of a new laptop.

Regards.

Processor upgrade possible on hp 2000 notebook PC

Hi, sorry to revive an old thread (but then it's an old laptop!) Just to clarify, you are saying that an HP 2000-410US with an Intel Pentium B960 can be upgraded to certain i3's or i5's on your list? There was another poster who said that the board will not post with those and the best CPU upgrade would be a Pentium 2030M. Which is correct? Thanks

The 2000-410US is diferent because has chipset Intel HM 65, but the reference parts details that the motherboard is 646177-001, if information is correct would support if it supports i3 and i5
