HP Pavilion x360 14 Convertible PC 14-dy0000 (23S36AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Got this computer literally a month ago and it was working completely fine until I woke up this morning and the QWER and UIOP keys just don't work! I tried every troubleshooting technique in the book. I tried uninstalling drivers, then reinstalling. I tried doing everything in forums. I even went as far as completely factory resetting the computer, but no luck. These keys are completely useless, and I am so annoyed because NOTHING seemed to have worked. HP this is super disappointing and I'm at a loss for words at the horrible quality of this product. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Hi@shash_iyer,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing keyboard issues with the HP Pavilion X360 14 Convertible PC few keys not working.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Check if the keys works fine in command prompt window or notepad
  • You can try doing System restore if it had worked fine few days ago.
  • Try doing Reset PC Keep my files from windows and check if it works.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
