Good day!
I have a quick question that needs a yes or no answer,
Here it goes, can I use a RAM with 1600MHz to this laptop? (Yes or No) If no, why?
Below are specs for that the laptop has for easier thoughts
HP Pavilion dm1-4011tu Entertainment Notebook PC
Model: A3U90PA
Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i3-2376M CPU @ 1.40 GHz 1.40GHz
Installed RAM: 2.00GB (Hynix DDR3 1333MHz)

Hi,
Looks like you have to use 1333MHz RAM. Machine may accept 1600MHz RAM but it will downgrade to 1333MHz. And its FULL specs:

Hi,
You can install compatible memory 1600MHz but always run at 1333 MHz , because that is the FSB (front side bus) processor.

The answer is Yes, your machine supports 8GB (2 slots, 4GB each). Please use the following manua which shows which RAM and how to remoe/replace/add RAM:
