I have a HP 15 Notebook with 4 GB of RAM on it, and I'm in dire need of an upgrade. However, no matter who I ask, no one knows what type of RAM I need to purchase.
Can anybody tell me where to look?

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03733656.pdf
Memory upgrade info can be found in Chapter 1 on page 5.
The maximum memory your notebook can handle is 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-12800 (1600 MHz).
The 'L' stands for low voltage memory which is 1.35 volts.
In addition to being low voltage, it must be non-ECC, unbuffered.
DDR3 memory not classified as L is 1.5 volts and will not work in your PC.

Hi:
No one will be able to tell you, when you don't provide the full model number of your notebook.
There are hundreds of HP 15 notebook variations and they may all have several different memory requirements/linits.
On some models you will void the warranty if you try to install memory on your own.
