HP ProBook 450 G0

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix problem:

1) Insert Windows installation disc and restart your computer

...i dont have any installation disc! I have this computer for some years and managed to lose all what belongs to it.. what can I do? It will let me go to the other menu (esc+enter) but nowhere else. I wanted to do the factory reset but then it asks me for finger print (I never put my finger print in) or where was I born and so on (I also never put anything like that in)... help? please?

Can you borrow a "retail" Windows installation disk from a friend, and boot from it.

Instead of choosing "install", choose "repair".

Or:

1. turn the computer off

2. turn the computer on, and immediately tap/tap/tap on the F8 key

You might see a "recovery" menu, with an option to "restore my computer to an earlier date",

namely to a "check-point" taken a few days ago, when your computer was working correctly.
