Hi
I just bought a HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC. And preinstalled **bleep**in windows 8.1
15-j118so
G1N98EA#UUW
I uppdated the driver for wireless to the latest, but i cant see any network in 5 Ghz,only 2,4 Ghz.
My question is: Does this network adapter support 5 Ghz?
It says 802.11bgn,and that´s why i bought it,so i could use 5 Ghz,but i cant see any one.

Hi:
The Ralink RT3290 802.11 bgn is a single band (2.4 GHz) only card.
Anytime you see a wireless N card spec listed as bgn, it is a single band card.
Dual band cards are listed as abgn or agn.
