I install Hard Disk Sentinel software and this program shows below:

Untitled2.png

Failure Predicted - Attribute: 1 Raw Read Error Rate, Errors occurred while reading raw data from a disk. Indicate problem with the disk surface or the read/write heads.
There are 28 weak sectors found on the disk surface. They may be remapped any time in the later use of the disk.
26848 errors occured during data transfer. This may indicate problem of the device or with data/power cables. It is recommended to examine and replace the cables if possible.
Replace hard disk immediately.

how can I fix it?

may drive format (Fdisk) and renewing windows can fix it?

tanx and regards

Hello mohkhosh,

I see that you're getting an error indicating possible hard driver failure, that you have this message from 3 different sources. I will try to help you with this.

After reviewing everything  you're looking at needing to replace the hard drive. I would suggest contacting support to see what they can do for you.

HP Technical Support, North America 1-800-474-6836. For all other regions click here.

Thank you for posting on the HP Forums.

hi Futoji

unfortunetely I live in iran and there is not any HP Technical Support center here.

my computer is in run after ignoring that error every day, but

format all disk is not a solution?

I try HDD Regenerator software to recover bad sectors successfuly in 2.5 hours:

then I press F2 and hard disk test passes:

so there is not any way?

Hi,

You could try running a check disk as to see if it can help at all. Here's how to do this: Run Check Disk from a Command Line to Check for and fix Disk Errors.

If you're still having errors after that, you probably have to replace the hard drive.

Give it a shot and let me know if it helps any.
Thanks.

Hi,

After reviewing everything again, and your previous tests, the area of concern is the bad sectors. In one of your tests above you had 96 bad sectors, this indicates "recovered" but they are never truly recovered. The check disk is showing 108kb in bad sectors. This is after the earlier test. Depending on how the test's work this could be an increase.

You could run the HDD Regenerator test again, to see what that number is to compare. Ultimately though over time, if the number of bad sectors increase, you'll start losing data and eventually the entire drive.

I would recommend backing up any important files, documents, and pictures that you do NOT want to lose, and replace the hard drive, there will be no way to truly recover it. If the bad sectors are increasing, it's indication that the drive will fail completely at somepoint.

Best of luck on backing up your important things, and replacing your hard drive. If you do need assistance in finding a replacement hard drive, or installing it, please let me know, and I will find the appropriate steps for you to follow.

Have a great day! 🙂
