My wifi is not working and no wifi adapter is showing on my pc....i formatted my pc and trying to reinstall the driver for wifi and bluetooth but it is not installing and showing error at the end of the installation "All installation completed please refer to log file for details"....and also no wireless interface driver is showing up in my device manager so i am unable to update my driver automatically by online update....plz help.......This is h/w or s/w problem??......before formatting my driver was in the hidden state in the device manager........but now nothing is showing to update the driver software in device manager and also unable to install the driver s/w....i downloaded the driver from offical hp website.

Going through your post, it looks like an issue with the network card. Either the card is not seated correctly or the card has gone bad. I would like to know the complete product number of your PC to give you specific steps.

 

Let's also try performing a hard reset. Follow the steps below:

 

If you are using a Desktop computer, try the steps here: http://hp.care/2es0xdZ 

If you are using a Notebook PC, then follow the steps here: http://hp.care/2byfHyh 

 

Now try to check the device manager for the network adapter entry. If still the adapter is not listed, you can try removing and reseating the network card. If you need assistance, provide me with the complete product number.

 

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.
