Sadly, it didnt work

I have read other people's experiences that installing the wrong driver for your ssd would freeze your computers or make it very unstable (so requiring a new clean install).. so yeah bricking it was a poor word decision.

SAMSUNG_MZVLQ256HAJD-000H1 is  the precise model of my ssd

Sorry the driver didn't work for you.

HP doesn't have any NVMe drivers for any of the NVMe drives they install, so I guess you will have to live with the Microsoft NVMe Controller driver that W10 installs by default.

I wonder why the driver worked on my notebook's SSD?

I guess I was just lucky.
