Vidya, sorry I know this is an old thread, but I have tried to do what you suggested, however I cannot locate HP Health Check Service in Services.msc. I know it is there as when I run task manager it is showing it in processes. Any help much appreciated. It's my Mum's computer and is driving me insane!

Greetings @BecyBex

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are looking to uninstall or disable HP Health Check. Maybe, I can help, if you could help with some information.

May I know the product number of your computer? Click here. (Please do not share the serial number of our computer in public.)

HP Health Check utility was only available in HP Notebooks running on Windows Vista. Please click here to know more.

If the application is not available in programs and features for you to uninstall, you can use any 3rd party uninstall utility to remove the application if you want.

Let me know if this helped.
