Got the same problem, SN + UUID missing.

Notebook doesn't have warranty anymore and will cost €300,- to code 2 f*****g codes in the bios.

If theres a way to find the original UUID I would be so glad since i know how to flash the SN (but still missing the UUID)

Hi @TL87 ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. UUID will be reset if you restore the BIOS to factory defaults on the Notebook. You could reset the BIOS with this document selecting the reloading the BIOS default settings. Which has helped others as it restores the default settings and resets the universally unique identifier.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, it does not seem to work though.
I accessed the bios, restored to factory defaults together with restore security.
Needed to accept TCM or something by pressing F1 but at the end i am still missing product name, serial number and uuid.

Kind regards,

Tim
