I did it!

I have an HP Pavillion 360 and could not get the Spanish accents to work.

I dug out my old ergonomic keyboard with the numeric pad. Finally with the numbers lock on, the alt + 0*** codes worked!

Just get yourself a full keyboard, probably including an older model on ebay, and plug it in.  Bingo! you win!

My keyboard is over a decade old.

Go for it!

áéíóú  and caps and upside down stuff.   Oooh am I happy!!

And my name should be colibrí (hummingbird) but I have a hand in a cast and the keyboard slipped as I excitedly registered for this message.  LOL  Ha ha ha ha ha    ¡¡  I am so excited!  Join me !!
