HP 2000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ok, here's the skinny:

 

Found an HP 2000 in a storage unit I bought. O/S is Win8.

 

Tried to reset to factory, but that image isn't working.

 

Upgraded to WinX, now computer runs GREAT!

 

Here's the issue:

 

I made system image backups from windows, and macrium.

 

This is a UEFI bios with secure boot.

I can't get a disk to boot from the DVD.

 

I turned off secure boot, tried again.... No go.

 

Switched to Legacy. Macrium will boot the CD, but I'm not sure it will image from a macrium image with an EFI partition.

 

I stopped there, cuz I don't want to run the risk of ruining a good image, or making one that won't boot.

 

Question:

 

How do I get the BIOS set up to work with my image options?

 

Thank You. I'm not used to UEFI.
