If we open a notebook body by ourselves, do we lose HP guarantee? If I buy an Intel WI-FI module, take it to the HP service center, will they replace Realtek on Intel free of charge? Thanks

Warranty conditions may vary, but generally you are allowed to open the laptop (true for ProBook, not 100% sure for Envy).

If you buy Intel adapter from HP service they will replace it free of charge (please confirm it when ordering adapter at HP service). It will cost ~$22.

I have a OMEN 15 relatively new, with the RTL8822BE, HP doesn't offer me any solution.. only to reinstall windows and I pretty sure that will be a circle to go to the same issues.

I have read in the first messages that RTL8822BE is working properly with the windows 10 Pro versión. Can any of you confirm that. I think it's the cheapest solution instead of opening the laptop. What do you think?
