Would HP or someone please, please tell me how to totally remove ALL HP printer software from my HP laptop; including all the Registry entries.

I have tried both versions of OJP8500vA909_Scrubber_12.exe up to Level 4 but when I tried to reinstall the OJP8500vA909_Full_14.exe, it still shows that most of the software is still 'already installed'; and subsequently the full installation does not complete.

My operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit; the laptop is an HP Pavillion and connected by wireless to the printer.

I need to be able to totally remove all files and Registry entries.
Please Help.

I have tried for several hours over several days going through many HP suggested solutions and the various forums; including:

http://www.out-of-warranty.com/three-ways-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-hp/

I have come to the conclusion that only by removing ALL HP printer software from my laptop do I stand any chance of getting my printer to install correctly. This means all the REgistry entries because I suspect that without doing so, the installation will still not work.

The printer was working properly and the link on the desktop for HP Solution Centre was fine; then suddenly Solution Centre stopped working.

Many uninstalls and reboots and reinstalls have been done. I can certainly print, but none of the facilities are available to me as they were when the Solution  Centre was working. In fact now the Solution Centre shortcut no longer appears on the desktop.

Thank you

Here is a gem of a tool from HP to straighten out your HP printer software woes.

It is the HP Printer Install Wizard.  It works for Windows 7.

I just ran this Printer wizard on an old HDx 18t that we downgraded from windows 7 Ultimate 64bit to 32bit (to run some old, fussy sw).  A few clicks of the mouse to say, Yes, this is my printer and yes, this is my stuff and the Little wizard went out, grabbed the Print Center stuff for our printer, downloaded it (258MB for our printer's s/w), and then installed the software and set up the Print Center.  Printing software works and the Print Center icons are all on board.

It may work for you.

It checks out your system, finds out what type of printer you have connected, makes sure your drivers are correct, and will even go out and get that HP Solution software, download, and install it.

Below find the link to the Install Wizard and the instructions:

If not, try removing the HP Solution Center and running a registry cleaner - CCleaner is a pretty good one and it's freeware.

OK... As far as the icon disappearing from your Desktop....

If the software is on your system (and this goes for other software as well as the Print Center), there are a couple of ways to get it back onto the Desktop.

Things to try, include:

1.)  Start --> All Programs --> (Look for the Program - Right click on it and "Send to Desk top") to create a icon shortcut

2.)  Start --> All Programs --> (Look for the Program - "Open File Locatiion" --> Right click on the exe file and send a shortcut of IT to the desktop)

Hint:

You can also Right-Click on a program and put in in your Start-Menu list so it will be there when you click on Start.  Then it's available but not floating around clogging up your Desktop.

I hope this helps.
