If you want to speed up the netbook, replace the internal hard drive by a solid state drive and add a 1GB module (PC2-5300 Sodimm) to get the max 2GB of RAM supported by the netbook. It's a netbook you won't get a high speed machine, it's more like a big calculator..:)
I would buy a 12" or 13" laptop intead of a netboook. They have Core i processors and generally are very powerful..
