Hello!
@DavidPK, Could you please provide help for a HP6570b laptop?
I got contacted by a sysadmin from a company I used to work for asking me if I remember a BIOS password for the official laptop I was using, which I don't as more than 3 years passed since I left. I wanted to help and started googling for the way to reset the password but I came up empty. All I found is this thread with you providing code for resetting security lock after unsuccessful login to BIOS.
Any chance of success this way?
Thanks in advance.
