Product: HP ENVY TS 17 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP ENVY TS 17 Notebook PC that will be transferred to someone else. Need to reset  the pc and reinstall the OS

Which operating system came pre installed in your laptop?

Have you created HP recovery USB after first setup of this notebook?

Did you upgrade to Windows 10 Home?

Hi,


You can restore your notebook using Recovery Manager.
Click on Start button and type recovery in the search box, and select HP Recovery Manager to run recovery from the D drive. From HP recovery manager you can find the option to format the drive.

If you didn't find the HP recovery manager, please Turn on power and press F11 key to run recovery without booting onto Windows (on some models esc key and then F11 key ).
