I have a friend with this notebook and we are trying to recover the OS from a Boot Manager missing error.    The problem we are running into is that this laptop is portected from using the optical drive without resetting the BIOS boot order.  The serial number can be provided once someone is willing to help out with this (obvious reasons for not listing the s/n at this time).

Thecarnivale.

There are no master password generators for ProBooks or EliteBooks and most business class laptops.

You will need to contact HP.

Or look at this link.

Mazzif’s program will detect your UUID, Serial Number and model number then use that information to produce an .exe file to clear the password.

Or replace the BIOS chip.

If you have good soldering skills order the BIOS chip. You will receive a picture of the chips location after purchase.
