Hi,
I have an HP 15-f003dx and I am having issues with the audio driver. Whenever I watch videos or listen to music while browsing the Internet, everything sounds like a robot and it lags real bad. I have already reinstalled the driver, updated the BIOS, and tried system restore and reformatted. Nothing else has worked.
Here are my specs below:
Windows 10 Home 64-Bit
Processor: AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon HD Graphics
8GB of RAM
Audio: Realtek High Definition Audio
I am running out of options. Any solutions to this ongoing issue would be great, Thanks.

For you to have the best experience in the HP forum I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide:
I grasp that you are not happy with the sound quality. If you listen to music or watch videos while browsing the web, it sounds very robotic and lags. You have tried reinstalling the driver, updating the bios, a Windows restore and have reformatted the drive.
Have you done all your Windows updates?
Here is a link to Open the Windows Update troubleshooter that may help find additional drivers. Although it lists Windows 7 it does work in Windows 10.
Once launched, it should show a screen like this.
Use the second option "Background Intelligent Transfer Service", it should lead to a force update of 'Windows Updates' that may not be automatically being applied that could fix some of these issues.
Have you ran the HP Support Assistant?
Have you ran the Windows troubleshooter?
Here is are two more links that may help.

My Windows Updates are fine, they are up-to-date.
I ran the troubleshooter, and it says the audio driver cannot start, so it fixed it.
HP Support Assistant did nothing.
I am hoping this stays fixed, otherwise I don't know what to do.
Thanks for your response!

I have done virus and malware scans. I've also ran disk cleanup and I defragged. I don't have any malware or viruses.
I am unable to contact HP Support over phone; my warranty expired and I cannot afford to pay you guys to help me.

Hi @REL1983,
Thank you for the update.
As running the Windows troubleshooter will restart the audio and it again works, there is something that is causing it to stop.
Has there been any recent changes to your system before this started to occur, an update or added software?
You could try a restore back to before this occurred. HP PCs - Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 10, 😎.
Then follow the steps in this document. HP PCs - Increasing System Performance and Maintaining Your Computer (Windows 10).
If the issue returns, then try eliminating services on startup to determine the one that is causing the issue.
Here are some links to assist you with that process.

Disable, Control, Manage Startup programs in Windows 10 / 8 / 7 (from the windowsclub.com)

Please keep me updated.
