For expantion of the memory I want to use a SD card for installing program files.

Are both SDSH and SDXC supported and what is the maximum memory that I can use together with the speed? ( I am thinking on using 256 or 512 Gb)

If this is not an option, can I use USB memory as a solution?

Hi @Olaf_N,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you want to use SD card for installing program files on your HP Notebook - 14-am080nd.

You cannot use the SD card for installing program files. However, you may use it as a storage device. SDSH and SDXC are supported. You may use 256 or 512 GB.
