Hello Today

 

i buy a " HP Notebook - 15-r245tx 64bit and i download all drivers and install them but there is a problem in device manager: In other devices category is a device that is not recognized...and this device name is " SM Bus Controller".

 

Please say to me what can i do? I have to download which driver to fix this problem?

 

windows 8.1  64 bit

SMBus controller should be installed via the chipset driver:

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp69501-70000/sp69575.exe

 

Post back if that does not work.

Is the chipset installer unpacking and running through the installation or is the whole thing not working?

 Sir your set up is successfully run on my Laptop but after completing setup i restart my laptop and see in device manager but that shows still SM Bus Controller is missing.

 

and as per your another link i unable to find actuall solution. so is that any another way to solve this problem

I check this site but there are no any SM Bus Controller for Windows 8.1 64 bit 😞

Cause it is part of the chipset. Not clear why it is not working for you
